Recording Consent
Florida requires the consent of all parties. This is not a formality.
This English version is a courtesy translation. If it differs from the Spanish version, the Spanish version prevails.
01 The rule
Florida is an all-party consent state (Fla. Stat. §934.03). Recording a conversation without the consent of all participants is a crime, not merely a civil violation.
02 What it means here
Before recording begins, every person present must know they are being recorded and agree to it. This includes guests, companions and anyone who enters the room during the recording.
03 Two layers
First: whoever books accepts this clause when scheduling and commits to informing their guests. Second: the room has visible signage stating that it is a recording space.
04 Use of the material
Recorded material may be published on the site, in the podcast feed and on the office's channels. If a guest does not authorize publication, that must be documented before recording.
05 Minors
The participation of minors requires written authorization from their parent or guardian, delivered before the recording.
